This project was started with an aim to make the branding of my alma-mater more eye-catching, distinctive and consistent with the visual identity. Nirma University, while known to give a fine education does not have a well designed branding. It is mundane and lacks the consistency across the various collaterals. The final outcome was a new brand identity, consistent visuals and a brand guideline helping create collaterals which were cohesive. The final logo is composed of Nirma University’s initials and a lotus which symbolises education and purity. It was also to represent the lotus pond which one sees first entering the campus. While this is a hypothetical project, I had fun collecting data, researching and ideating for it.
